This year, the picnic will be held at the Gresham Estate near Edgewater, Maryland. If you are located in Sussex County, DE, the eastern shore of Maryland or the tidewater of Virginia (or anywhere else in our region), now is your chance to come to an APT DC event to meet your regional officers and board members.
The picnic will begin at 12PM and last until 2PM. We'll be providing lunch and drinks, but we're asking that you bring your favorite dessert to share this year! Non-members and kids are welcome to join us.
We'll have plenty of shade under the pavilion adjacent to the home, but bring your own picnic blanket or camp chairs if you'd like to relax on the lawn. If you have a favorite lawn game, you're welcome to bring that, too!
In addition to our picnic, tours of the home and grounds will be offered throughout the event by Rod Cofield, Executive Director of Historic London Town and Gardens. You do not need to register for a tour in advance.
