I am a sole practitioner in the business of architecture and interiors since February 2002, when I obtained my architecture registration in Texas. I specialize in a variety of project types such as medical specialty clinics, corporate office suites, ecclesiastical administrative offices, custom home renovations, vacation property remodels, home staging and re-design. Please visit my company's website at: www.taraimanidesigns.com.
I enjoy meeting clients' unique program, site and budget requirements by providing creative, elegant design solutions using the latest technologies.
I also enjoy preparing homes for resale markets. My re-design and home staging efforts have helped sell houses at premium prices in tough market conditions.
I am also a partner in a commercial land development company and assist with facility management services.
My strengths: creating beautiful interiors, space planning and design, research, organization, client relations, and strategic planning.

***Update as of 02-08-2016 (yes, it's been that long since I've participated on this forum): I am now an NCIDQ-certified Registered Interior Designer in Texas and a member of ASID. I have not yet written a book nor sat for the CDT exam. Priorities changed as workload increased.
New update: 01-11-12 Completed the Architecture 2030 40-hour course.
Goals for 2012: Co-author a book. Become a registered Interior Designer. Earn CDT certification through CSI. Continue publishing regular content on my blog to educate both seasoned and emerging architects on latest trends and help improve public awareness of what architects do.

Highlights of 2011:
Last 2/24/11:
I attended the 2011 LEED (trademark) v3 AP Building Design + Construction Professional Accreditation Exam Preparation Course presented and taught by Richard Andron, AIA, LEED AP. I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking to renew or initially gain their LEED GA and subsequent accreditation(s). www.aceLEED.com (Recently, I've been made aware that Everblue is also a very good source for LEED prep courses).
Favorite event of the year was last January, 2011:
I had the good fortune and pleasure to participate in the Design Futures Council's Leadership Summit January 12-13th, 2011 in beautiful La Jolla, CA, as one of 75 delegates from all over the world. I look foward to writing a series of related blogs on AIA KnowledgeNet sharing my experiences and what I learned there from such leaders as Frank Gehry Technologies, McDonald's VP of Design, and Michael Schrage among many others. My first blog was posted on 4-14-11: "Visioneering: What is the X-Prize for the Built Environment?"- based on the Opening presentation by Jane Poynter, Biosphere scientist and CEO of Paragon Space Development Corporation .
