Mr. Scheer received his M. Arch. degree from Yale in 1984. Prior to founding his own practice in 1994, he worked in prominent design offices in New York, Los Angeles and Paris. His office pioneered the use of Building Information Modeling which has been the core of its practice for over thirteen years. Among the firm's many award-winning projects are the Corryville Recreation Center (Cincinnati, OH) and the Center City Project (Terre Haute, IN). The firm relocated to Salt Lake City in 2002 and now focuses on infill multi-family housing and mixed-use projects. Mr. Scheer has taught architectural design and history at the University of Cincinnati, Miami University of Ohio and Arizona State University. Mr. Scheer has written and lectured widely on BIM. He is a past Director on the boards of AIA Utah and AIA Cincinnati. Mr. Scheer is currently a member of the Advisory Group of the AIA Technology in Architectural Practice knowledge community.
