Project Description
Earn 1 HSW
In its 16th year, the Housing Awards program was established to emphasize the importance of good housing as a necessity of life, a sanctuary for the human spirit, and a valuable national resource. The AIA/HUD Secretary’s Award recognizes excellence in affordable housing architecture, neighborhood design, participatory design, and accessibility. In 2016, from a highly competitive group of entries, in 2016, ten projects were selected for the AIA Housing Awards and four projects were selected for the AIA/HUD Secretary’s Awards. This webinar will provide a deeper knowledge of these awards programs, which are managed by the Housing and Community Development Network (AIA Knowledge Community).
