Introduction to the AIA Knowledge Net | Faster Forward Boston 2011

Thank you to AIA Dallas and AIA National for allowing me to remotely attend the "Faster Forward live-event at Build Boston." I am excited to be involved in a series of such fruitful topics that could possibly be the spine of our space-time construction over the next decade.

Personally, I am less interested in BIM, environmental design, or integrated systems on their own. While our technological advancements have made architecture faster, more efficient, and cost effective, it has truly put a damper on the quality of our nations praxis. We have become out of touch with our clients, climates, regions, and cultures. I hope that this conference provides some insight into how the human body may one day interact with architecture as it did from the beginning.

You may follow my critiques and questions on twitter @GFFArchitects tomorrow for more insight into what "could be".
