Architecture for Humanity

Architecture for Humanity is a nonprofit design services firm that aims to build a more sustainable future through the power of professional design. The AIA and Architecture for Humanity have built a partnership to coordinate their components and chapters throughout the United States to prepare and be resilient against natural disasters.

SEED Network

The Social Economic Environmental Design (SEED) Network was established as a community for professionals with a public interest mission and a common set of principles to guide ethical community engagement. The AIA is currently exploring ways to partner with the SEED Network and Design Corps through Continuing Education offerings and the BRIK portal.

Public Architecture

Public Architecture seeks to solve problems of human interaction in the built environment and facilitate public discourse through education, advocacy, and the design of public spaces and amenities. Public Through its relationship, the AIA and Public Architecture have encouraged AIA members to pledge to The 1%, a nationwide program of Public Architecture that challenges firms to commit a minimum of 1% of their time to pro bono service.
