Bio

Stuart Narofsky, FAIA, is the principal of Narofsky Architecture, a multi-discipline design firm founded in 1983. Stuart is the recipient of the AIA Long Island “ Lifetime Achievement Award”.  His projects are highly recognized through design awards, national and international publications, videos, and exhibitions.  Hi firm has won competitions resulting in built work for MCA Records and Long Island Ronald McDonald House, and an unbuilt sustainable solution for Pratt Graduate Housing. He teaches and serves on juries at New York Institute of Technology, Pratt Institute, and Drexel University. Dedicated to pro bono service in South America, Stuart has lectured and overseen workshops at various universities in Bolivia and Argentina. He is a past president of AIA Long Island and currently chair of AIA National’s Custom Residential Architects Network. He has lectured at architecture conferences and symposiums throughout the US and most recently speaking engagements in Poland and Hungary.  In 2016 Stuart was inducted into the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects.
