The AIA Design for Aging Knowledge Community and LeadingAge invite architects, designers, researchers and healthcare providers to submit projects for consideration in Design for Aging Review, 12th Edition.
The Review includes a juried exhibition, a book, and educational programs that showcase facilities representing conscientious environments for senior living. A jury of architects, allied professionals and care providers for the aging will select the projects and research to be published and exhibited.
This comprehensive review of architectural design trends for the aging will become a reference for healthcare providers, developers, users, advocates, architects, and interior, landscape, and other design professionals. This program gives architects the opportunity to demonstrate innovative solutions that improve the quality of life within specific project constraints.
Projects selected for publication will be exhibited at the LeadingAge Annual Meeting and Exposition in both 2013 and 2014 as well as at the 2014 and 2015 AIA National Convention.
Entries must be received by 11:55 p.m. EST on July 31, 2013, to be considered. Start your entry here.
