Jon,
While the specific interaction of Newforma/ Newforma Workflow Connector and Procore is probably a little too specific to generate a lot of discussion here, I would like to point out that the issue of which/ how softwares interact between Construction Contractor tools, and Architect's tools has been an ongoing struggle for many firms and individuals. Even scrolling down a few discussion topics on this board will lead you to questions/ discussions regarding "Counterlogging" of RFIs and Submittals. Clearly, if we haven't moved the needle on that fundamental function, softwares are likely going to leave us wanting. While you won't necessarily find a direct answer to your question, hopefully you will at least receive some reinforcement that most of the industry has not found a way to bridge this issue without the kinds of potential pitfalls and concerns that you raise.
If you are committed to use Newforma and Procore, rest assured you will have some unanticipated results (possibly good and bad) as you work through the process. One thing you can expect is that there will be items and procedures that you must adapt as you go, and will require you to find work arounds. Best of luck as you continue to investigate. Please feel free to reach out privately, if you'd like to discuss specifics or these two, or other softwares. I may be able to place you in contact with a couple of individuals through the CCA KC that have had specific experiences to share.

Subject: CA and Newforma Workflow Connector
We use Newforma for our CA services.
We're considering the "Newforma Workflow Connector" so the GC can use their Procore software and we can continue using Newforma.
Are there any challenges / risks you've encountered with "Newforma Workflow Connector?" Do all types of attachments transfer? Can "Reviewed" vs. "Approved" Stamp options remain same? Do transfers take longer?
Thanks,
