    Edward Mazria:

"Following Russia's unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, the world must face the harsh reality of climate change, energy, and national security, in part due to Russia's dominance over oil and gas exports. These intertwined crises, however, provide an unprecedented opportunity to reduce global consumption and accelerate renewable energy technologies for both ecological and political stability."

Amen and all glory to Ukraine! With all the terror and death of the Russia - Ukraine war,  the coronavirus pandemic, species extinction, environmental pollution of land and oceans, and on and on, the impact of climate change on the entire planet is orders of magnitude greater and more dangerous. In the midst of these terrible events, the existential threat of climate change cannot and must not be forgotten. It must be dealt with in every way imaginable by all people on the planet...but especially by political leaders of all countries.
