The Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) provides knowledge which supports the design of healthy environments by creating education and networking opportunities for members of – and those touched by – the healthcare architectural profession.
The 2017 Fellowship deadline has now passed and is expected to re-open in early 2018.
The Griffin/McKahan/Zilm (GMZ) Graduate Fellowship in Health Facility Planning and Design has been established by three leaders in healthcare planning through the Academy of Architecture for Health Foundation Legends fund to encourage research into healthcare programming and planning. Fellowship award(s) range from $2,000—$7,500.
• To encourage research related to the programming and planning healthcare facilities
• To attract talented young architects and students to this field
• To advance the knowledge of planning and design for healthcare environments
• To better understand the dynamics of the team environment and what makes successful project delivery teams
