DFAR12: Good Shepherd Cottage, Santa Teresita, Inc.

03-23-2015 04:04 PM

Santa Teresita's project is a response to the vital need for new and better models of care for a growing elderly population. The "Rose Gardens at Santa Teresita" shifts from a medical model to resident centered care by creating "home" in a custom-designed cottage meant to be flexible for assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing. Founded by the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, Santa Teresita provides care for the aging community and is motivated by a profound compassion and supported by a commitment to professional excellence.
