The Committee on Architecture for Education (CAE) is a Knowledge Community of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). We are a large and active group of over 10,000 architects and allied professionals concerned with the quality and design of all types of educational, cultural, and recreational facilities that promote lifelong learning in safe, welcoming and equitable environments. The CAE’s mission is to foster innovative and collaborative design of educational facilities and to heighten public awareness on the importance of learning environments.
On Thursday June 25th, the CAE Research ThinkTank hosted it's third panel conversation about technology, engagement and remote teaching and learning. Moderated by Dina Sorensen, Assoc. AIA, Caroline Lobo, AIA; the panelists discussed various technology platforms, methods of continued online engagement with students, teacher support and how to prioritize equity in remote learning environments.The panel featured Vriti Saraf, Director Professional Learning, Whittle Schools & Studios, Anand Padmanabhan, Global Chief Information & Technology Officer, Global Executive Team, Whittle Schools & Studios, and Peter Brown, FAIA of Peter Brown Architects.
