We are trying to find a Blast Wall Engineering consultant or a Blast Wall Design Build company for an apartment project in Brunswick Georgia.

We need protection for our HUD apartment project from an 850 gallon propane tank and a 1200 gallon diesel belly tank under a generator that are located on adjacent properties.

Any recommendations or contacts for Blast Wall Engineering firms that have worked w/ other architects would be appreciated!

    Thanks, Rob

    Rob,

Jensen Hughes has experience analyzing and designing blast walls in accordance with the HUD Barrier Design Guidance.  Kevin Mueller, in our Chicago office, has done this analysis for a HUD supported project in Tampa, where a nearby 8000 gallon propane tank was within the Acceptable Separation Distance.  We have the capabilities to analyze the wall under the blast loads and fire exposure, if necessary. He can be reached at kmueller@jensenhughes.com or 312-879-7200.
