Next week, archivists from the Library of Congress, Architect of the Capitol, and the National Gallery of Art are hosting a symposium in Washington D.C. to discuss the topic of preserving digital information created by our industry. It has been recognized that more work is needed to do due diligence to ensure that important assets are captured and maintained for posterity, in much the same way physical assets (drawings, models, photographs, etc.) have been.
