I grew up in North Carolina where I worked on farms, in a steakhouse and at moving and storage companies.
I played football for many years and participated in the Army Reserve Offiicer Training Corps.
I attended Tuskege University and earned a Bachelors of Arts in Architectural Science. I later attended Texas A&M Univerisity earning a Masters of Architecture.
I served 20 years in the U.S. Army, working as a Health Facilities Planner and Army Medical Logistician. Early in my career, I met my soon to be wife. We are married with three young adults as our children.
I started a studio, ATEKZ STUDIO.
