Hi Ronald,
Revit LT is a trimmed down version of Revit.Some functionality- Massing, Workgroups, Beam Systems local rendering and others are removed. This isn't a complete list so please go to

Basically Revit LT is intended for smaller architectural firms that don't need to interactivelyshare the model (Workgroups) but want Revit BIM @ a lower price point. If you're on subscription you can use the Cloud
Rendering feature that's faster than local rendering.
If you buy the Suite I believe you get AutoCAD LT in addition to Revit LT. Revit LT makes a Revit file so compatibility with Revit is not a problem.
