There are lots of discussions about this issue still going on. The institute is planning a series of listening sessions, although I'm not sure when they will be announced. It is also a touchy subject as people on both sides of the political divide are passionate about their viewpoints. The original statement offended many members, now the apology is upsetting others. Others feel the whole thing is being blown out of proportion and wish we stopped wasting any more time on it. It isn't easy to balance the opinions and feelings of 89,000 members, especially with a political climate as divisive as ours is today. If you would like to engage with the discussion I urge you to reach out to your local boards, regional directors, and other leaders within the institute.

Why is there not discussion about the AIA apology for endorsing the President and Vice President Elect's policy endorsement?
