Bio

Principal Architect and Manager for the Division of Building, Design & Construction for the City and County of San Francisco Department of Public Works where the focus is excellence in Project Delivery and Design for the City's great Civic Projects. Oversees 125+ Architects, Landscape Architects and Construction Managers to deliver hundreds of Civic Projects for the City and County of San Francisco, including Fire Stations, Police Stations, Parks and Recreation Centers, Public Libraries, Streetscapes, Transportation and Public Utility Facilities.

Recent positions included Project Director at NC2 Studio, a creative and talented "Think Tank" of Architects and Interior Designers, who strive to find innovative and creative solutions in design. Areas of speciality at NC2 include mixed-use, multi-family residential, interiors, retail and tenant improvements.

Overall career includes nearly 30 years of experience in architecture and design with a rich and varied background in the field of Architecture. Recent tenure included 13 years at SB Architects, a well known international design firm where the focus was to lead the company’s largest and most complicated projects from early schematic design through construction, with an emphasis on project delivery excellence. Leading the project management effort at SB for many mixed-use, multi-family residential and luxury hotel projects, I was fortunate enough to work with the best in the business. These included the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Maui, Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage and 2 ground breaking mixed use developments in California, Bay Street Emeryville and Santana Row, often cited as one of the nation’s most significant mixed use projects.
