Well, it seemed like the workshop went well this year. Although it was abbreviated due to the Moynihan Symposium, I thought the sessions I attended were excellent. I really enjoyed both keynotes from two very impressive speakers. Congratulations to Rona Rothenberg, FAIA, on a job well done.

The reception also was very nice. I appreciated that our host let us stay as long as we liked and didn't start herding us toward the doors. Hopefully, last year was an anomaly we will never repeat. Thank you to Architect of the Capitol Stephen Ayres, FAIA, for providing a wonderful venue at the Botanic Gardens.

Vergel Gay on the Advisory Group is starting to put together next year's workshop and if you have any ideas on content you would like to see, please post your comments in response to this message or send them directly to Vergel. We would like to return to the full day format, but may reduce the breakout times to an hour to keep everyone from squirming in uncomfortable seats.

Also, if you attended the symposium, what did you think? Was it worth the drama? Did you get as much out of the program as you did from our workshop in past years? Did you stay for the whole afternoon? Was it a good format for education? I'm not picking a fight, I really want to know how we can make our programming better next year.

    Thanks,
