With all due respect, this forum is designed to encourage sharing. While I understand your concern, unless we, as a profession, share our knowledge and experiences (good and bad), we will become irrelevant.
In today's information rich, data driven society, knowledge is created and available everywhere. Just Google any subject and you are likely to find something out there. Success will be measured in the future not by how high your IQ is, or how much experience you have, but by how you validate the information you get and apply it to solve the problem at hand.
As seasoned practitioners, it is our responsibility to mentor future generations in developing those skills. Conversely, they can teach us how to share openly (something they are very proficient at) and to use the new tools available to us.
So, my hope for the AIA is that they continue to foster a culture of sharing and growth within the profession, not to dampen it.

This is a great way to communicate. However, I would caution all to be sensitive to creating any liability for yourself or the group, or damaging the credibility of the profession.
