Joseph de Porras AIA NCARB
Managing Partner

Joseph brings his extensive experience in all phases of Design and Construction to the FSA Team; which includes Housing and Retail-Commercial solutions.

Joseph's site specific team begins with Conceptual Design and Development Entitlement experts, with domestic and overseas experience to assist clients throughout the development process.

The FSA Team provides hand sketching, during our concept discovery phase and CAD and MS Project, EXCEL when we get further into defining the resultant design solution.

Joseph de Porras AIA is an experienced and award-winning architect who has been involved in the art and business of architectural design and the built environment for over thirty years.

With extensive experience involving many project types such as residential, health facilities, retirement communities, time-share communities, retail/commercial, mixed-use high-rise and others, each client’s design goal is provided with a fresh and creative approach. This versatility in all phases of Architecture and Planning is a genuine asset for client programming, design solutions, development goals and financial endeavors.

As an Experienced Architect, Joseph uses his expertise in Project Design and Project Management while working side by side with the design team from initial design to construction administration. Joseph consistently chooses quality architects and engineers to work with, leading design solutions that work for clients, fit communities, creates a new experience for the public and becomes a lasting addition to the built environment.

A graduate of the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Architecture degree, Joseph has served on the Encinitas Parks and Recreation Commission, was an initial member of the San Diego Home & Garden awards committee, is a licensed architect in California, Texas and Nevada and is also a certified architect with the National Council of Architectural Boards, allowing for architect registration/license reciprocity in the United States of America and several countries.
