As a Partner and Housing Practice Leader, Jason oversees a diverse range of housing project types, including market-rate multifamily residential, affordable housing, mixed-use, senior housing, and urban infill. As a LEED-accredited professional, Jason has a passion for creating livable, sustainable communities. His extensive knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, construction systems, and market trends - developed through nearly three decades of experience in jurisdictions throughout the Southeast and beyond - serves as a valuable asset during the project design and construction processes. Jason served on the AIA Triangle Board of Directors from 2012 until 2020, volunteered as the AIA Triangle Continuing Education Chairperson for over a decade, and is an active member of the Urban Land Institute. He earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and his Master of Architecture from North Carolina State University. A native of Columbus, Ohio and a Raleigh resident since 1995, Jason enjoys cycling, hiking, golf, reading, travelling, and spending quality time with his daughters.
