Mr. Petri’s career spans more than 45 years. For 40 years, He was a principal in the Denver office of Slaterpaull Architects. Slaterpaull merged with Hord Coplan Macht in 2015. Since September 2017, he has been engaged in private practice as a consulting architect in the field of historic preservation and planning. His 45 years of professional experience includes historic preservation, as well as design and planning for college campuses, “Main Street” communities, municipalities, State and County governments, and nonprofit organizations. His preservation experience includes over 150 historic preservation projects, involving more than 400 buildings in six states. He supervised or authored more than 100 historic structure assessments and preservation master plans.
