Bio

Jessyca Henderson is a licensed architect in the state of Maryland. She directs the AIA’s national codes advocacy program, on both policy and development of model codes and standards. Jessyca is a frequent spokesperson on behalf of AIA and has been a speaker numerous local, state and national events on the subject of codes and standards, sustainable design and practice issues related to green building codes including AIA National Convention and in 2011, GreenBuild. Prior to joining the AIA in 2007, Jessyca practiced architecture for nine years in the Maryland, DC and Virginia markets specializing in sustainable design, adaptive reuse and residential design.

Jessyca earned her Bachelor of Arts in French and her MArch, at Tulane University.
