Bio

Randy Deutsch AIA, LEED AP is a lead design architect, BIM strategist and advocate, responsible for the design and management of over 100 large, complex sustainable projects. As an adjunct associate professor leading graduate-level building science, design studio and professional practice courses, he served on Chicago Architectural Club’s Board of Directors, AIA Chicago Board as Director and Vice President and founding member of the new BIM Professional Accreditation Council. Randy blogs at www.bimandintegrateddesign.com and www.architects2zebras.com, both featured in July 2010 ARCHITECT magazine. He is the author of BIM and Integrated Design: Strategies for Practice (Wiley, 2011,) tracking the social and organizational impacts and collaborative work process of the new technologies on individuals, organizations, the profession and industry. Randy is recognized as a professional thought and practice leader, keynote speaker, mentor and recipient of the AIA Young Architect Award - Chicago.
