Bio

Architect, Consultant & public speaker experienced in sustainable, low carbon and green design issues, moisture, mold and decay issues in buildings, as well as wood products selection, technical wood information acquisition and forestry issues. As a consultant to the building industry and Senior Technical Director of WoodWorks, a non-for-profit initiative of the Wood Products Council since 2008, I develop and present continuining education courses for building professionals locally and nationally and through webinars. I am also contracted to provide technical support regarding wood construction to Architects & Engineers in the Central U.S.. Services include the selection of wood products for commercial, industrial, recreational and multi-family structures through assistance with research, documentation, educational programs and assistance with meeting sustainability and code requirements.
