I'm an architect, Project/Construction Manager with over 30 years of experience with managing design and construction. The expertise spans institution, higher education, commercial and retail projects and attractions. I've managed the design and 'roll out' of large entertainment retail centers (over 4m sq ft/372k sm), Nokia stores (1000sf/93sm), $400m BioPharma plants, $40m wet lab biological research facilities to $25m hotel and aquarium projects. I've managed projects in large and small firms, private and large public corporations. As Operations Director Faithful+Gould, I was responsible for developing and leading the PM/CM services in California and Western US.My 30 years of experience includes design management, Value Management, Risk Management and Cost Controls. With my well honed skill sets, character and values I provide a significant contribution to building a successful project team poised for success. The collaborative team approach, mentoring and quality assurance best practices have been hallmarks of my career. At Atkins, as previously with Faithful+Gould, my roles and responsibilities included corporate strategic and tactical planning with both national and international colleagues, with line-responsibility for successfully completing higher education, retail, hospitality, institutional projects for my clients. My goal is to lead teams in developing sustainable, high quality design while ensuring stakeholder values and expectations are exceeded. At ATKINS we Plan/Design/Enable to ensure the success by managing budget and schedule, monitoring contracts and minimize Change Orders.
