Bio

Christine is Project Manager in the Facilities Management Department at Thomas Jefferson National accelerator Facility (Jefferson Lab), a Department of Energy physics research facility in Newport News, Virginia. She plans, designs and manages projects of varying types and scales at Jefferson Lab. Before coming to Jefferson lab, Christine played a leadership role at Daniel Mann Johnson & Mendenhall (DMJM) in Washington DC, where she worked on several multi-million dollar projects including the development of the Pentagon Renovation Program and disign of Airforce 1 Maintenance Support Complex. Licensed in Maryland and Virginia, Christine has served in several capacities as an AIA member. She is the current Chairman of the Public Architects Advisory Group, an AIA Knowledge Community. She served as the 2008 President of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the AIA, and was a Board member of the Virginia Society AIA.

With a passion for community service and educational activities, Christine has participated on juries for the Hampton University School of Architecture and in the University's accreditation review program; and served on the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners for the the City of Rockville, Maryland. She has mentored children for Big Brothers & Big Sisters and spoken at Career Day programs for various high schools. Christine is also passionate about promoting sustainability in design and construction and is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and Global Green USA
