Bill Burke is a licensed architect, instructor and technical expert on high performance buildings. At PG&E's Pacific Energy Center, Bill teaches and coordinates programs on design of building enclosure, solar geometry, energy codes, energy modeling, glass performance and daylighting. The Pacific Energy Center is part of the Workforce Education and Training efforts on energy efficiency manged by PG&E under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Bill also provides design advice on selection of building materials and windows and assists designers in studies of solar control and daylighting using physical models. He is co-author of Fundamentals of Integrated Design for Sustainable Buildings, published by Wiley & Sons, 2009.
