    Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) will be holding EXPANDING HORIZONS: A Workshop for Small Businesses Entering Emerging Markets, in Denver on October 13th at the Westin Denver Downtown.  The workshop, part of a nationwide series, is an opportunity to learn about the OPIC and other federal government resources available to help American firms take advantage of international opportunities for their business. 

    OPIC experts will discuss the financing and insurance products it makes available in markets including Africa, Latin America, Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East and in industries like renewable energy, housing, health, agribusiness, tourism, services, franchising, and more.  Trade specialists from other government agencies including the U.S. Department of Commerce’s U.S. Commercial Service, the Small Business Administration, the Export-Import Bank, and the U.S. Trade & Development Agency will also be on-hand to talk about their programs that support exporting and international growth.  In addition to presentations, the event will also make available one-on-one appointments for attendees to meet directly with presenters to discuss specific needs.
