The fifth AIA Taliesin Colloquium: Taliesin West is sponsored and hosted by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation for the Historic Resources Committee and the Committee on the Environment of the American Institute of Architects.
This year’s colloquium will focus on existing buildings as sixty percent of current work for US firms is on buildings that are already standing. To meet future resilience and sustainability targets, we need to upgrade our commitments to re-using this infrastructure. the re-use of existing buildings cuts across all architectural specialties, this topic is relevant to all practitioners.
