The 3rd Caribbean Conference of National Trusts and Preservation Societies will be held in the world heritage city Willemstad, capital of the island of Curaçao. The conference is hosted by the Curaçao Heritage Platform and will be held November 16-19.
Conference topics include:
- Opening keynote by Gustavo Araoz on cooperation through ICOMOS
- Underwater and maritime heritage and its impact on societies – keynote by Peggy Leshikar, Denton
- The importance of branding and marketing of heritage – keynote by Vincent Vanderpool, Wallace
- Financing heritage preservation – keynote by Michael de Sola
- Adaptive reuse of built heritage – keynotes by Arno Boon and Victor Marín Crespo
