As designers, there is a great amount of opportunity (and responsibility) to shape the lives of people who live, work, and play in the spaces we create. Focusing on the social determinants of health can help reduce the inequity we see between communities and increase the quality of life for everyone. However, creating healthy spaces takes intention and doing so inclusively, even more so.
This live course will include perspectives from both planners and architects on how to create inclusive, healthy places. We will discuss how inclusion can be used as an outcome, process, and tool and our speakers will share their experiences through case studies and best practices. Register now >
