Chicago is known for its unique place at the crossroads of transport and culture. This forum will engage in a discussion of how the legacies of twentieth-century urban ideas have created both challenges and new opportunities for design excellence to reconnect communities and their surroundings. This program will expand the idea of Chicago’s unique context to other communities through the lens of design excellence projects.
