AIA Design for Aging Fellows: Senior Living Design Research
April 26, 10-11am
In late 2018, DFA awarded research fellowships to three recipients, two graduate students and one professor. The intent of these fellowships is to engage a younger generation and to promote rigorous, academic research in design for seniors. The goal is that this research can be readily applied to senior living design projects. Come hear each fellow present their exciting research process, findings, and design implications. Topics include intergenerational communities, regenerative design for the elderly post disaster, and photo diaries of residents in assisted living to understand inhibitors and facilitators of social interaction.
AIA DFA Student Design Competition
April 26, 2-4:30pm
Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning students will participate.
AIA DFA Membership Breakfast & Program
April 28, 7:30-8:30am
All EFA attendees are welcome to attend this annual breakfast program with your fellow DFA leaders and members.
Further details to come soon on these DFA events.
