The Climate of Urban Design

The second symposium on the future of Urban Design Education and Practice

February 27-28, 2020 | Austin, Texas

..

The Regional and Urban Design Committee (RUDC) at the American Institute of Architects is partnering with the School of Architecture at The University of Texas, Austin to bring together leading academics, practitioners, and theoreticians to discuss the critical issues facing the profession and environment. This program builds on the January 2019 Symposium “Bridging the Gap: The Future of Urban Design Education and Practice”. The purpose of this symposium series is to establish an ambitious agenda for urban design practice and education for 2020 and beyond.

We are seeking proposals addressing issues of climate, context and the environment.

Do you have an idea for a session? Please submit your idea by 11:59pm EST December 6 to start the conversation. All submissions will be peer-reviewed.

Haven't finalized your idea? Start your submission with at least your name and email, and you'll receive a link to edit it.
