Informed by Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds and the principles of transformative organizing compiled by author and activist adrienne maree brown, and by the swampy ecologies from which its host city emerges, ACD45: EMERGENCE will take place in New Orleans, Louisiana. This is a gathering, not a traditional conference, and it will be a time to explore our human relationship to change and build our capacity to shape the futures we want to live. After two and a half difficult years of physical disconnection, community designers, developers, architects, planners, students, educators, activists and advocates will come together to learn, explore and celebrate our collective presence. Join us for a keynote with urbanist, organizer, and advocate Sue Mobley; curated tours and workshops; and music, drinks and dancing.
