Taliesin Colloquium Student Scholarship

The American Institute of Architect’s Historic Resources Committee is announcing opportunities for student scholarships to attend the 2020 Taliesin Colloquium at Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona. The scholarship will provide a stipend of up to $550.00 to cover travel and lodging expenses. Registration for the Colloquium will be included in the Scholarship.

About the 2020 Taliesin Colloquium

The Colloquium will be held on February 7 and 8, 2020 at Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West in Scottsdale, Arizona. The focus of the Colloquium will be a discussion of the evolution of building and energy codes for historic structures. We have gathered expertise from across the country, leaders in the subject of fire protection, life safety and model energy codes for historic structures. We’ll look at how past codes have accommodated existing and historic structures, and how new codes impact the way we look at historic buildings. We will engage our experts in a panel discussion on the future of reuse of our many historic structures as impacted by a wider view of Health, Safety and Welfare in our new code requirements.
