The Committee on the Environment (COTE®) is an AIA Knowledge Community working for architects, allied professionals, and the public to achieve climate action and climate justice through design.     While there are ample challenges our population centers are facing, we might also find opportunities to enhance public realm as we prepare for changes to come. This is particularly true for coastal communities like Battery Park City. Sharing an article I wrote for AIA New York State's quarterly journal.
