ISO 19650 - AIA Interpretation

    Hello All,

I'm seeing an increasing use of language and processes coming from ISO 19650 in US projects - clients coming in with an EIR, naming conventions and CDEs being set up using that standard. Previously ISO 19650 had been mostly present on projects in the UK and in the Middle East.

There are some commonalities between the AIA approach to BIM in their new contract documents and the ISO approach, but I haven't seen an attempt yet to combine them. Has anyone else seen use of this standard in the US and have detail to share on how things are developing?
