A former partner in an information technology firm that provided business management services to the AEC industry, specializing in digital communication, database implementation and infrastructure cost management. She is an architect and past President in 2000 of the American Institute of Architects, Pasadena & Foothill Chapter.
Her background of 30 years is in commercial projects in the areas of design and project management. She has worked in the Los Angeles area for mid and large size firms as a Project Manager and Senior Project Architect responsible for projects in the commercial and institutional divisions, involved with planning and infrastructure projects as well as agency approvals.
She is currently on the Board of North East Trees in Los Angeles, and was Chair of her local Planning Commission where she participated in the American Planning Association for 13 years.
