    Registration for the 2020 symposium The Game of Risk: Win the Game and Preserve the World is now open! The symposium will be held virtually this year on September 25, 2020 from 9 AM - 4:30 PM.

    The Symposium will focus on disaster risk evaluation and mitigation strategies with presentations on the following topics:

    • Physical Security
    • Fire
    • 2020 Disasters
    • Flooding
    • Climate Change

    Full day agenda is now available. 

    The event will be held on Zoom.  Further details will be sent after registration has been completed.

    Registration for this event is free but is open to APT DC members only. If you are not a member, we encourage you to become one! This allows you to attend the symposium and other great APT DC events for the next year. To become a member please visit our membership page.

    We've applied for 6.5 continuing education credits. The day will be divided into two sessions 9:30 to 12 and 12 to 4:00.  CEC registration is $25 for the entire day, but will be awarded by session in case you can't attend the full day.  Funds from the CEC registration will be donated to our Emerging Professional Sponsorship Program. Please make the continuing education selection when you register.

    Update: 6.5 LU/HSW will be offered for Friday's Symposium. 


    Registration correction. Event is free for members and guests. $25 fee only if requesting continuing education credits.
