Who we are

The Academy page supports AIA's efforts to connect education and practice. AIA works with faculty, staff and students; practitioners; and collateral organizations to support excellence in education and research, expand the pathway to the profession, and prepare future architects. AIA regularly pools resources with AIAS, ACSA, NCARB, NAAB, and others to provide scholarships, educational programming, research, resources, and more.

Negotiate with Confidence – Even in a Downturn!
Many women have a hard time asking-and negotiating-for their career and themselves. Negotiation and leadership strategist Elizabeth Suárez, MBA, is working to change that. Join us November 19, 2-3 pm, for the final installment of Power Moves, a webinar series designed to help women architects overcome the challenges they're facing right now. Elizabeth will guide you through a proven system that teaches you how to successfully negotiate for everything you want, including how to stay focused on your desired outcome and how to transform "no" into an acceptable compromise.

Want to attend but can't? Purchase your ticket, and we'll send you a link to the on-demand recording if you miss the live event. You can also still purchase the entire series and watch the first two courses on demand. Tickets:
    • Individual webinar - $25 member/$40 nonmember
    • Series - $50 member/$80 nonmember (buy 2 get 3rd free)
