Who we are

The Committee on Design (COD) was founded to promote design excellence among members of the AIA, the broader design community, and the public at large, both nationally and internationally.

In April 2019, COD was in San Francisco for it's annual domestic conference. Check out the conference resources and the pictures!

Zero Code, a renewable grid, and getting to an emissions-free building sector: we're counting on CA

  • 1.  Zero Code, a renewable grid, and getting to an emissions-free building sector: we're counting on CA

"If enacted, a Zero Code would essentially mandate emissions-free new buildings almost immediately." ....

"The question for all of us isn't if we will transition into a cleaner future, but when, and how quickly. The time is now." ....

"If you live in California, especially, write or call Governor Newsom, urging him to support a renewable grid, a Zero Code, an emissions-free building sector immediately."

(Even if you don't live in California, let him know that right now, the nation is depending on leadership from states and cities who know that being responsive to climage change now is the only way to a positive future.)
