The mission of the AIA Design for Aging (DFA) Knowledge Community is to foster design innovation and disseminate knowledge necessary to enhance the built environment and quality of life for an aging society. This includes relevant research on characteristics, planning and costs associated with innovative design for aging. In addition, DFA provides outcome data on the value of these design solutions and environments.

    We are inviting you to consider writing or repurposing one or more articles for the next issue of the Design For Aging official e-newsletter Blueprints for Senior Living. What can you write about? Anything! Anything, that is, that is related to Design for Aging.

    All we ask is that you send us the title of your proposed article, a link (if already published), and a short paragraph describing its contents. If more than one paper is proposed on the same topic or similar topics, we may suggest that the two writers collaborate on one paper.
