Calling All Submissions for the Latest Issue of Blueprints!!

For the 2015 second quarter issue of Blueprints, we are looking for articles about "resiliency." Both buildings and people need to be resilient in the face of challenges - be it the aging process or climate change. How can architecture address the changing needs older adults have as they age in place? How can architecture plan for a changing climate? Are these things related or do they conflict?

If you are interested in resiliency and would like to contribute to our newsletter, the due date for second quarter content is June 4, 2015.

Please send the title of your proposed article and a short paragraph describing its contents to DFA@aia.org. We prefer original submissions and request that you not submit a previously published work. Articles should be 200-800 words in length and are subject to the editor's approval. Illustrations such as photographs, sketches, and design drawings, are highly encouraged!

Thank you for your contribution to the Blueprints and continued efforts to make it a success!
