We have used the ASHE standards, the AHJ State/Local requirements, as directed by the Client to meet Federal directives (JC), and in some cases we have to reconcile the various stakeholders. The changing face of health care facilities now includes leased spaces within a mixed use envelope which could call for the more traditional commercial use of BOMA calculation (

Subject: Method of Measurement for Health Care Projects
What method of measurement for health care projects is your office using? What have owners asked for? Does your firm use or is considering implementing the ASHE- Area Calculation Method for Health Care?
