For the fifth week in a row, the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health's Research Initiatives Committee has just downloaded another new "bench-marking" case study. This 2017 AIA/AAH Healthcare Design Award winning project is the Bayshore Dental Clinic located in Whitefish, Wisconsin by Johnsen Schmaling Architects. This project is interesting for its creative and simple approach to adaptive reuse as well as the light-filled interiors for the clinic that help create a nurturing environment for both patients (clients) and staff. We have added the introductory 2-page spread to peak your interest. Go to the Library to see the rest of this Case Study.
The American Institute of Architects recognized the project as one of the best in the nation, awarding it a 2017 AIA/AAH Healthcare Design Award.
We now have thirty-three (33) Case Studies of the 2013 through 2018 Award Winning Projects in the Library. We have drafted several more of the 2018 and 2019 Award Winning projects Case Studies and several of those will be submitted over the next few weeks.
Go to aia.org/aah and click on Case Studies Quick Link on the left of the page to access the Case Study Library or aia.org/aahcasestudies
Respectfully Yours,
