    Historic Preservation and Sustainable Design in the Etruscan Hill Towns of Central Italy: May 6-16, 2020.  36 AIA-approved HSW Credits.

     

    Please see program summary booklet attached and at https://www.civitainstitute.org/1754/current-programs.html. In collaboration with the nonprofit Civita Institute,  this "deep dive" 10-day program is being offered once again May 6-16, 2020 and will focus on architectural/cultural preservation, sustainability, seismic innovations and modern design interventions in a series of vibrant Etruscan hill towns of central Italy. Participants will connect with local architects, engineers and citizens in exploring important preservation work and experience the architecture, art, food and wine culture of the world heritage hill towns of Assisi, Perugia, Tarquinia, Orvieto, Pienza, Cortona and Siena, in addition to Civita di Bagnoregio. This small group program has very limited capacity. You can also email programs@civitainstitute.org if interested in learning more.
